Final Week – Fin

June, July, August, September, and October . . . Five months of coding, planning, designing, debugging, and living the meme:

It has been a journey in its own however, it was a massive learning experience that I wouldn’t change for the world. The project turned out to be what we wanted and working with three other colleagues, has just been amazing.

Thursday of last week, the team got together and presented our app to one of the Computer Science professors and their class. More precisely, the professor that over sees the AI students of Computer Science. There were also some other students there and after we did our demo, we got some good feedback from them.

App – What is it?!?!

I think it is time to share what this mystery app is all about: Budget Gladiator!

Budget Gladiator is a comprehensive web-based financial management application designed to help users take control of their budgets and finances with real-time security protocols, AI-powered insights, and an intuitive interface. The app empowers individuals and small teams to visualize expenses, detect potential fraud, manage debts, and plan for the future with intelligent assistance.

The app was super fun to build that combines multiple aspects of other apps into a nice clean UI that does not overwhelm the user. Now, there are several features that we would like to have within the app but due to time, budgets (the irony), and access to certain software, we were not able to fully get everything we wanted. One of the things we wanted is the ability to help pay bills from the app itself. So, you have a phone bill that you don’t have on auto pay, this app would be able to connect to your phone service provide and pay it from one of your accounts that is linked to your Budget Gladiators account.

Next Step

After this, there isn’t much more we need to do with our capstone. We just need to do a few more presentations and a demo video then we are complete. Thank you to everyone who has supported this project and was here from the start!
